The Blue Goose opened in 2011 as Georgia’s First Bike Hostel. Through the years we’ve found that we are a good fit for easy, low-maintenance travelers looking for clean, comfortable accommodations. We see hunters, wanders and lots of cyclists.

The property features one bunk room (sleeps 8), two private rooms in main building. A charming one bedroom cottage and a container house. 

The Bunk Room sleeps 8, with 4 sets of custom bunks built to fit adults.  The private room downstairs has a queen bed with one set of bunk beds and a shared bath. The upstairs private room has one queen bed with an attached bath.

Guests share a common kitchen, two  baths a laundry room, a comfortable breezeway and front porch with rocking chairs and two decks. WIFI is available throughout the hostel, cottage and container house. 

The Blue Goose is best for low maintenance travelers who need a space to rest. Guest also have access to our General Store and Bakery. 

We love pets, and we welcome yours. 

The hostel is located in middle Georgia, just 20 to 30 minutes from Macon, Milledgeville, and Dublin. Rural roads are well maintained and plentiful. Route maps are available at the hostel and on MapMyRide.

Built in 1847 and situated on 2.5 acres, Blue Goose  is the perfect place for the single rider to enjoy a night or an entire group to get in some good times.
